Chahat Tikoo is a clinical intern from Adler University. She is a second year masters student specializing in Clinical Mental Health. Chahat has obtained her bachelors degree in Psychology
from The American University of Paris. During this time, she worked at an emotional support helpline in Paris wherein she aided individuals of different ages regarding different concerns such
as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Moreover, she has also volunteered at a special needs centre in Dubai, working with kids aged 6-16.
As Chahat comes from a multicultural background, she is interested in working with culturally diverse clients and families. She hopes to advocate for those who come from communities wherein
seeking help is uncommon. Moreover, her approach is revolved around person centered therapy, family systems as well as cognitive behavioural therapy. She aims to work with individuals who
struggle with self esteem, anxiety, trauma, family and marital conflict.
In her free time, Chahat enjoys staying active, photography and traveling. She enjoys being exposed
to different cultures and their values and belief systems.
