Kristiana is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Northwestern University. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Studies, with a minor in Peace Studies, from Loyola University Chicago. With a background in coaching, Kristiana prioritizes compassion, patience, and empathetic reflection in her work with clients.
Therapeutic Approach
Kristiana’s approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing from Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Existential approaches. She emphasizes a holistic view of the mind-body connection, valuing the integration of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Kristiana believes that connecting to love as a central aspect of who we are can be a transformative part of the healing process.
She also integrates insights from neuroscience and mindfulness to support clients in developing greater awareness, resilience, and self-compassion. Kristiana strives to work deeply and collaboratively with clients, encouraging honest self-reflection and personal growth as pathways to authentic self-understanding and meaningful change.
