Lovette Qadri, ALMFT


Lovette holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Northwestern University. She completed her graduate clinical training as an intern at Progressive Psychological Healthcare. During her clinical training, Lovette gained experience working with complex relational and individual concerns, including trauma, attachment injuries, communication breakdowns, family-of-origin dynamics, mood and personality disorders, and high-conflict relational patterns.

Drawing from a rich background in patient advocacy, Lovette has honed her skills in guiding individuals and families through the labyrinth of healthcare systems, ensuring they receive nothing short of outstanding care. Her unique experiences have taught her empathy, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and negotiation skills, enabling her to address each client’s unique needs with precision and compassion.

Lovette brings a high level of clinical attunement and intentionality to the development of robust and genuine therapeutic alliances. She is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic atmosphere to support clients in confronting challenges and navigating obstacles. Her work draws from multiple evidence-based and relationally informed models, including Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Person-Centered approaches. Central to her practice is the conviction that increasing awareness and understanding of the cultural, communal, and relational systems shaping individuals is essential. This systemic and integrative perspective enables her to provide tailored support that honors each client’s unique journey.
