Inna Popko, LCPC, CADC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with an integrative, trauma-informed
approach to care. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Capella
University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from the International University of
Human Development in Ukraine.
Inna began her career in Ukraine as a nurse and midwife in obstetrics and
gynecology, where she provided comprehensive women’s health care. She also gained
early experience supporting women with prenatal and postnatal mental health concerns,
shaping her holistic understanding of the connection between physical and emotional
well-being.
After relocating to the United States, Inna worked in a hospital emergency
department, collaborating with medical teams to provide crisis assessments, including
evaluation of suicidal and homicidal ideation and acute psychiatric conditions.
Her clinical experience includes crisis counseling, substance use
treatment (including DUI evaluations), work with law enforcement personnel, and
supporting refugee children in a school setting. Inna uses an integrative approach,
incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, CBT/REBT, and Relational Life
Therapy (RLT). She is a Level 1 certified IFS therapist and is trained in Polyvagal
Theory by Deb Dana, emphasizing nervous system regulation as a foundation for
effective treatment.
Inna works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, helping
clients address anxiety, depression, trauma, stress-related concerns, relationship
challenges, and substance use concerns. She also provides psychological evaluations
for immigration-related cases, including asylum and VAWA.
Fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and English, Inna is committed to providing
culturally responsive care and creating a safe, collaborative space for growth and
healing.
