
Rebecca recieved her Masters Degree in Counseling from Adler University Chicago. Rebecca is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, aging adults, couples and families who are addressing chronic or acute disability, chronic pain, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma and stress related disorders due to life transitions. Rebecca utilizes an integrative approach rooted in Existential and Adlerian Principles and often incorporates Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and a Strength-Based approach to create and individualize treatment options to accommodate each client’s unique characteristics.
Rebecca views the therapeutic process as a holistic experience and is constantly inspired by the courage of the clients she works with. Rebecca has extensive experience working as a Personal Trainer with a specialization in disability, illness, disease and health related issues. Therefore, she strongly believes in the mind-body connection and that change is possible in any situation. Rebecca is also working towards her certification in EMDR and Equine Therapy.
